Maxine Shaw

Maxine is a keyboard tutor at Marshall Laing School.
She has played the Piano for ten years and has achieved Distinction in Grade 8, Trinity.

She also plays the Oboe and completed Music 120: Performance 1, this year at Auckland University through the Young Scholars programme.

Maxine currently is performing in New Zealand Youth Symphonic Winds, West City Youth Concert Band, Auckland University Orchestra and Philharmonic Society Orchestra this year.

Her Chamber Group were finalists in the Auckland District rounds of the National Chamber Music Contest June, 2024 and her Chamber Group in 2023 won Best Performance of an Original Composition.
