Madeline Fleming

Madeline currently teaches choirs at Marshall Laing Music School on Saturday afternoons.

She has been tutored in choral singing for almost 10 years, and has been part of many choirs over the years.

During the past few years Madeline has participated in many different musical groups. She has played Electric Bass for her Jazz Combo, as well as in the school Concert Band and Big Band. She also plays the Double Bass for her school's Chamber Orchestra, performing in many competitions. She has performed at the Auckland Jazz & Blues Festival, the NZ Youth Jazz Festival, and the KBB Music Festival.

Madeline also plays the piano, having lessons at Marshall Laing Music School for 3 years, before continuing on with private lessons for another 2 years.

This is her first year teaching at Marshall Laing, and she is enjoying trying to make singing fun for her students, while teaching them how to sing together as a choir.
