At 7, classical Piano beckoned, starting my musical journey. Pleasurable hours of solos, duets (with twin brother, sister) for competitions, recitals and exams, followed.

Cello was added at 11. With female teachers as cellist/teacher role-models, I pursued a University Performance degree, then won a post-graduate scholarship to London. Years of semi-professional orchestral playing in Christchurch, Dunedin, Auckland and Hamilton, have combined with itinerant teaching.

Teaching passion and knowledge to students is a joy.
Tennis racquet strings resound in my leisure time.'
