Daniel White

Before taking on the role as Music School Supervisor in 2024, Daniel had worked as a keyboard/Piano tutor at Marshall Laing Music School since 2013.

Outside of Marshall Laing, Daniel teaches piano full-time at his Mt Roskill studio where he has taught for over 15 years. He also composes/arranges and has published music for over 200 titles.

He has over 25 years of experience playing/performing piano and holds an ATCL performance diploma with Trinity College London and an A.Dip.A Modern/Jazz diploma with ANZCA.

Over the years, Daniel has seen many Marshall Laing students grow into confident musicians who have gone on to perform, study music in university, have a career in music and some who’ve even gone on to teach here at the school. He is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn and grow.
