Join Our Team

Relievers

We currently have a full team of tutors, however, are always looking for relievers.

The Role

  • You will be tutoring individual and small groups of primary and intermediate level students on their instrument on a Saturday morning (school term time only).

  • Levels are from beginners to higher grade level.

  • Tutors are required to keep accurate records of students attendance and progress and prepare students for concerts and also exams if necessary.

Your Skills and Experience

  • You will have a proficiency in your instrument of minimum Grade 8 level.

  • Experience in teaching is preferred but not essential as training and support will be given to the right candidate.

  • Police Vetting/Working with Children check is essential.

Music Tutor Volunteers

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist in our classes on Saturday mornings.

Under the supervision of a qualified and experienced teacher this is a great opportunity to develop your teaching/tutoring skills.

  • Teaching/Tutoring hours are normally 8.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday mornings during school term time.

  • Must be proficient in your instrument to at least a Grade 5 level to volunteer.
